Saturday, September 15 in picturesque Granville, Ohio

Capacity 75. Reserve soon!

Harm Reduction Ohio will host a one-day gathering of harm reduction supporters and advocates on September 15 in Granville, home of Denison University (and Harm Reduction Ohio!).

Granville is a lovely village, just 30 minutes east of Columbus, and the perfect place for the first-ever gathering of Ohio residents committed to drug policies based on compassion, evidence and health.

We thought of calling the event a meeting or conference, but those words didn’t feel quite right. This is a gathering of like-minded people.

If you want to be there, please reserve early. The gathering will be held at the College Town House, a big, lovely home built in 1885. Capacity is limited.

The cost is $25, which covers lunch, snacks and beverages. We’ll have T-shirts for sale on site to mark Ohio’s inaugural harm reduction event.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with registration staring at 9 a.m.

Inaugural Gathering

Saturday, September 15

Cost: $25

Granville is a popular tourist destination, so consider staying a night. The Granville Inn and Buxton Inn, next to the venue, are among the many accommodation options. Granville is located in the center of Ohio, so driving the same day is an option, too.

The gathering’s purpose to let harm reduction supporters meet others from elsewhere in Ohio. The event will include a few outside speakers but will focus on harm reduction advocates meeting each other and learning from each other.

A lot is going on in Ohio, but often advocates feel all alone. (You aren’t!)

Next year, Harm Reduction Ohio will hold a more formal conference. But this year, it’s a gathering. Hope to see you there!
