Syringe program conference headliner: OnPoint NYC, the nation’s first overdose prevention site

The staff of the nation’s first safe consumption site, OnPoint NYC, will provide the keynote presentation at the Ohio syringe program conference on May 22-23 at the Ohio State University. The conference is called “Ohio Syringe Services Program: Building Evidence, Empathy and Equity.” It is sponsored by Harm Reduction Ohio and the OSU College of Public Health.

Register for “Ohio Syringe Services Programs: Building Evidence, Empathy & Equity,” a statewide conference for people who use, operate or want to start syringe programs. The two-day event is sponsored by Harm Reduction Ohio, the Ohio State University College of Public Health and others. Cost: $75 for two days, including meals, parking, continuing education credits, educational materials and more.
