Ohio Harm Reduction Gathering
Saturday, Sept. 15, Granville, Ohio
A statewide gathering for harm reduction advocates, especially as volunteers, will be held in the central Ohio college town of Granville. The event is $25, which includes food, and is sponsored by Harm Reduction Ohio.
It’s also aimed at those who want to get involved in harm reduction efforts and the harm reduction community.
You’ll learn about harm reduction efforts underway in Ohio from the citizens doing them, usually on a shoe string but often to great effect. Most of all, you’ll learn how to do harm reduction effectively in your hometown, even when the environment seems unfriendly or indifferent.
You can save lives, improve lives and make the world a better place by becoming an active member of the harm reduction community.
The gathering is next Saturday, September 15 in Granville, hometown of Home Reduction Ohio. Granville is in central Ohio, just east of Columbus, and is accessible from everywhere in Ohio with an early start.
The $25 ticket can be purchased here and covers food, beverages and snacks for the day. Contact carole@harmreductionohio.org if you have questions.
